Royale Commercial Renovation

This project explores a conceptual upgrade to an existing commercial building in New Westminster, introducing a two-storey restaurant at the corner of the site. To create visual interest, the corner of the building was articulated as two distinct masses: a glazed lower level and an upper mullioned glass form, separated by a prominent canopy that distinguishes the two spaces while offering weather protection in response to the area’s coastal climate.
